Interventional Procedures

MedWise performs many interventional procedures, including:

  • Breast Biopsy

  • Myelogram

  • Joint Injection

  • Fluid Drainage

  • Central Catheter Placement

  • Infertility Testing

  • Biopsy

These procedures utilize some of the same equipment described in this website.
For example, the ultrasound machine can be used to perform a non-invasive breast biopsy. CTs (CAT Scans) are used to assist in placement of central catheters and to perform joint injections. X-rays can be used to assist in central catheter placements, infertility testing and gastrointestinal studies.
